German attorney and Supreme Court Justice. An amateur astronomer, he established the position of the galactic center in 1959. As an astrologer, he is an outstanding pioneer of modern scientific astrology who tries to integrate the newest astronomical findings to enlarge the horizon of traditional astrology.
Using both geocentric and heliocentric systems, he introduced the geocentric planet nodes, Transpluto, heliocentric astrology as well as the newest research of solar activity, cycles and much more. He is the author of many scientific articles and ephemeris. His books include "Wir sind Kinder des Lichts," 1987, "Sun-Earth-Man" and "Astrologie, Hoffnung auf eine neue Wissenschaft."

There are many useful coordinate systems in astrological work besides the zodiac or ecliptic. The two outstanding other systems that must be understood for competent astrological considerations are the Equatorial System of right ascension and declination and the Horizon System of azimuth and altitude. Yet other systems include the Galactic System, Supergalactic System, and the Local System (the systems of near stars of which our Sun is one member). This is in addition to the various orbital planes of the planets other than Earth, each of which has its own "ecliptic," based on the inclination of its particular orbital plane. Still other systems exist, based on the equatorial inclination of the planets, the equator of the Sun, and the Invariable Plane of the solar system. It can get complex.

There was a project of searching for Planet X hypothesized by Percy Lowell.
He hypothesized that there was a planet orbiting beyond Pluto.
The hypothesis of Planet X was derived from astronomical errors of Neptune's mass.
Planet X hypothesis to explain apparent discrepancies in the orbits of the gas giants, particularly Uranus and Neptune,speculating that the gravity of a large unseen planet could have perturbed Uranus enough to account for the irregularities.

There is highly geometrically oriented system known as Uranian Astrology which includes hypothetical transneptunian planets that include Cupido, Hades, Zeus, Kronos, Apollon, Admetos, Vulkanus, and Poseidon. I admit that I was briefly into Uranian Astrology, but I lost interest in it because I was uncomfortable working with transneptunian objects that haven't been discovered by astronomers. I strongly preferred working with transneptunian objects that have been discovered by astronomers.

I am interested in Pluto's fellow transneptunian dwarf planet/candidates that have been discovered in the 21st Century since I discovered that I have Moon square Varuna with only 10 minutes of arc back in 2001 and then found out that I have Sun was conjunct Ixion with only 5 minutes of arc very shortly after that and then found other transneptunian dwarf planet candidates that were strong in my astrological activity. My closest personal aspect involving a transneptunian dwarf planet/candidate is Midheaven square Haumea with 2 minutes of arc. I even have a very strong personal connection with the collective energy of Eris with my having a Sun conjunct South Eris Node/Earth conjunct North Eris Node alignment of 10 minutes of arc. That's why I have a very strong interest in them that might seem like an Aspergers-like interest. Makemake's Ecliptic Latitude in his astrological nativity was 3 degrees 34 minutes North of the Ecliptic, and that was in parallel to Mercury which was 3 degrees and 38 minutes north of the Ecliptic.
Theodor Landscheidt was born three years before the February 18, 1930 discovery of Pluto.
At the time of Pluto's discovery , Pluto's Latitude was 0 degrees 12 minutes South which means that it was on the Ecliptic which made it easy for Clyde Tombaugh to discover Pluto while on his search to Planet X.
Makemake's Latitude was 5 degrees 31 minutes North of the Ecliptic
Pluto wasn't the only transneptunian object that was on the Ecliptic.
Haumea's Latitude was 53 minutes North of the Ecliptic, and so it was on the Ecliptic like Pluto was.
If Clyde Tombaugh had looked elsewhere on the Ecliptic, Haumea would have been discovered.
Then there could have been two planets discovered in the 20th Century and there would have been astrologers debating about which planet should rule Pluto and not just which zodiac sign Pluto should rule. Astrologers would be working with aspects and midpoint pictures involving two transneptunian planets. Theodor Landscheidt discusses the importance of Jupiter/Pluto midpoint in his book, Sun-Earth-Man.
What separated Pluto from Haumea was not just Pluto being 41 minutes closer to the Ecliptic than Haumea was.
In Geocentric System, Pluto was conjunct its own north node with an orb of 41 minutes of arc and oppose its own north node with an orb of 2 degrees and 38 minutes of arc.
In Heliocentric System, Pluto was conjunct its own north node/oppose its own south node with an orb of 41 minutes of arc.
Theodor Landscheidt specialized in Planetary Nodes, and so I am very sure that he knew about those nodal alignments.
I am also very sure that he knew about his Sun trine Geocentric North Pluto Node with an orb of 1 deg and 1 minute of arc and sextile Geocentric South Pluto Node with an orb of 1 degree and 36 minutes of arc. He would also have known about his Earth sextile/trine Heliocentric Pluto Nodes with an orb of 15 minutes of arc.

Theodor Landscheidt was far from the mainstream astrologer. He seemed to have been far more of a Cosmobiologist that questioned the validity of mainsteam astrological methods.
I have been interested in the Golden Mean in Astrology since reading about them in Dr. Theodor Landscheidt's articles back in 2008. I noticed that he made remarks about planets in Golden Aspect to Geocentric Planetary Nodes in the chart of JFK and Adolf Hitler. He mentioned some Golden Aspects and one of them was 85 degrees. David Cochrane identified 137°30 and 85°as the Golden Mean of the Golden Mean Aspect.
"The golden section divisions within cycles formed by the rotating earth may be considered a set of astrological aspects. The complete set emerges when we superimpose the two schematic diagrams in Figures 19 and 23, related to minor and major of the golden section, and compare all of those angles we find on the right and on the left of the origin 0°. Imagine that you are standing at the rising point R, or 0°, of the diurnal circle and are looking over to the setting point at 180°. Then the superimposed golden section divisions on your right form the set 21.25°, 42.49°, 47.51°, 68.75°, 111.25°, 132.49°, 137.51° and 158.75°. The angles 338.75°, 317.51°, 312.49° and so forth, on your left repeat the set on your right when subtracted from 360°. If we extend the fractal beyond the semicircle and include the quarter circle, the golden section operation generates the additional angles 34.38°, 55.62°, 124.38° and 145.62°. It is not an arbitrary procedure to divide cycles in halves and quarters. Observation shows that spectral peaks can appear at twice and four times the driving frequency, or at half or a quarter of it (Burroughs, 1992). Statistical tests indicate that the twelve golden aspects in the complete set are reliable."
He also made a remark about Dr. Theodor Landscheidt speaks of the 1024th Harmonic (2 to the 10th power) while making his point that we need not feel that we are too outlandish in looking for such intervals as the 125th (5x5x5).

With the help of Solar Fire and Sirius astrology programs, I discovered that The Golden Mean Aspect 137°30 is the 55/144th harmonic aspect and requires an orb of no more than 7 minutes. If you go more than that, then you're looking at a different harmonic aspect. It will be operating on a different frequency.

Like cosmobiologists, his interpretation was based strictly on the planetarysymbolism and not the angle. Cosmobiologists don't view the hard aspects as challenging like they are viewed in mainstream Astrology.

I notice that Dr. Landscheidt had a very strong Eris theme which Linda Lee Berry hypothesized as mainly Unexpected, Unsettling Awareness. I believe that it has to do with ideology that unites or divide us leading to inclusion or exclusion.
